And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

That face when you empty your magazine into Godzilla and he doesn't seem to even care.
That's a publicity photo from the 1981(?) Japanese movie "Sailor Suit and Machine Gun" (セセーラー服と機関銃). The actress, Hiroko Yakushimaru, was about 16 years old when she made the movie, and she also sang the theme song. She's still acting today in her 60's. My main colleague at work had a huge crush on her after the movie came out. I can recommend this movie for all of the safety violations you can see if nothing else.
She's got an old grease gun! Thats cute, looks a tiny little thing up against it, she ain't even 5ft if that.
ReplyDeleteA STEN, probably not the first or best choice.
ReplyDeleteNope. Not English. Grip inline with the mag. I don't think it's a Grease gun, though. Shape isn't quite right.
DeleteNope, not a STEN. M3, possibly M3A1

ReplyDeleteEveryone knows that you have to use the "oxygen destroyer", ask Dr. Serizawa.
