And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It's from Tiger Meet back in the '80s or '90s before the Italians retired the Starfighter. In 1961 74 Squadron RAF whose emblem is a tiger, hosted two other 'tiger' NATO squadrons, the 79th Squadron USAF and the French 1/12 Escadron de Chasse. In 1962 eight NATO tiger squadrons each from a different airforce were invited and Tiger Meet became an annual event. Each squadron tries to outshine the others with tiger paint schemes. Al_in_Ottawa
Wow! I don't think I would be so relaxed sitting on the upper fuselage with that big cat about ready to jump up with me; every one of those pilots must think he can run faster than the other pilots!
