And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

My best dog ever, "Winter" had one rich brown eye, the other an ice blue one. They reflected my flashlight back red and green. She was a pure white "pitbull" type, or mix. She LOVED humans, loved cats, loved her canine sisters. Loved to bake in the sun... She was beautiful in a terrifying way but within seconds she would know you and want to play and cuddle. I was blessed to enjoy her for the short time we had to know her. A true friend to all.
