And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have a buddy that stretched the cab and widened the engine compartment. It has a custom frame with a worked early 90's 12 valve 4x4 drivetrain that has been rebuilt. He does rural driving and without a load he is getting 22 mpg with AC, power steering, cruise control, power windows and intermittent wipers.
Don't know what truck he's speaking of, but he's probably referring to an early Cummins straight-6 diesel, of the type put into the first and second-gen Rams.
Better hope it has power steering.
