  1. I started out with a Weber grill & book titled "How to grill"... actually the book was first... Worked really well!

    1. I used one for 25 years with good success. A great product.

  2. Back in the 1970's, when I was a young father barely earning a living, we used a Weber kettle cooker very often. It was one of the few thrills that we had at the time. I remember trying to cook a Thanksgiving turkey in the very cold Minnesota winter. The outside air was so cold that it barely heated the air as it passed the burning charcoal. After several hours, we ended up putting the turkey in the oven.

  3. I like the enclosed ash pan at the bottom. We used a basic Weber grill on Sunday and after the burgers were grilled, keeping the dogs from licking the hot drippings and ash from underneath was a real pain. A little fat is one thing, getting a heaping bellyful of what would be the makings of soap quite another.

  5. Use mine 1-2 times a week. Became a much look forward to end of week family tradition.

Use 2 zone method with a chunk of hickory. Smoke up to temp on the cool side then reverse sear on the hot side to finish.
