  1. The latest in blueberry camouflage uniforms undone by reflective tape covered orange float coats and lifejackets; gives away the sub and tender.

  3. Seeing "squids" wearing camo uniforms is as funny as seeing the Air Farce or Space Farce wearing them.

    2. You obviously never saw Marine generals in the field with the troops, even on field exercises.

  5. That's the USS Ohio (SSGN 726), converted from an SSBN into a guided-missile submarine.
The two tank-like objects behind the sail are the Dry Deck Shelters (DDS). These are modular structures attached to the submarine to facilitate special operations forces (SOF), particularly SEAL teams. The DDS provide a pressurized environment where special operations forces can prepare and deploy underwater using SEAL Delivery Vehicles (SDVs) or other submersible platforms, allowing for covert insertion while the submarine remains submerged.

    1. This pic is called "How to tell me you have an embarked SEAL Team without telling me you have an embarked SEAL Team"

    2. All four of the Trident Conversion Boats USS Ohio (SSGN726), USS Florida (SSGN728), USS Michigan(SSGN728), and USS Georgia (SSBN729) are DDS capable. So it’s only speculation that the Boat shown in this post actually is the USS Ohio
