And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yep, my hero Iggy. He got his nickname from being in a high school band with some friends called "The Iguanas". I have a copy of their songs on vinyl that I picked up a few years back. Really bad, but enjoyable. Iggy was the drummer. I love him with the Stooges and some of his solo stuff. I bought the Stooges first album when it was released back in 1969.....
I was in my early 20's when the Beatles broke up. That year, I decided to stop listening to the radio to stay on top of "current" pop tunes. Unless it was a really good song by a decent artist, I am, by my own choice, ignorant of the past 50+ years of rock music and the "artists" who made the music. And I can guarantee you that I am happy about it.
Iggy Pop certainly falls into the "I don't give a red rat's ass about..."

That seriously sucks. It’s horrifyingly bad. People who can’t sing or play instruments seem to have gotten ahold of some real bands equipment.
