  1. Is it just me or is this young lady "riding" the brakes and the clutch?

    1. Proper riders always keep at least one finger on the levers, in case quick action is needed. Too many, in the event of an emergency, totally miss the brake/clutch levers when having to unwrap the grip and flex their fingers up and over.

    2. It also helps to prevent hand cramping on a long ride.

    3. Never having driven a motorized bike more than about five blocks, I appreciate the insight. Might I add that the drive was back in 1965 and was one of about three that I did as a kid.

  4. She must be going real slow. Her hair is hanging in front of her. Any bit of speed would put her hair behind her back.

  5. And as long as she has them, those goggles on helmet should be worn to protect those pretty eyes from insect and other impacts that occasionally happen when riding (especially during bug season). I know - probably attempting to avoid 'racoon eyes' sun tan, but if you have them, may as well use them.

I appreciate the lesson(s) above about clutch - break emergency measures. I had no idea but now it does seem a reasonable measure.
