A Mohawk pilot remarked to me (at the end of the runway just before takeoff for my first nape of the earth flight along the DMZ in Korea) that the Mohawk is proof positive that if you put long enough wings and enough horsepower on a brick, it will fly
With the right combination of power (engines) and lift (wings), anything will fly.
