Aug 29 1918, A Clayton tractor towing a Handley Page 0/400 bomber of No. 207 Squadron at Ligescourt Aerodrome.
It was designed in 1915 when all airplanes suffered from parasite drag, and lots of it. The first airplane powered by Rolls-Royce Eagle engines. The US Army bought eight after the war. Al_in_Ottawa
