And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? And they'll cost about 7 to 10 bucks. Cook your own.
My exact thought. There are going to be a lot of people giving up on fast food and restaurants in general in the next few years, especially as the ridiculous new California minimum wage spreads nationwide.
Another business killing regulation signed into law by Golden Boy Gavin Newsom.
Just amazes me what people willingly consume- and where. Right down the road from me I can get a fat ass cheeseburger with all the fixings, a bag of chips, and an ice cold long neck PBR for under $12. And I get the ambience of a little joint in the desert that has not changed since it opened in 1969. Fast food…please.

I remember my first visit to McD's in Las Vegas in the early 1960s. It was a revelation. Of course, I was in grade school and probably the first hamburger chain restaurant I'd ever been to, so I can be forgiven. Eventually, I grew up and haven't had a McD's hamburger since the 1980s. I can remember that last one too, in the shadow of the East LA Interchange. Life is too short for McDonald's.

ReplyDeleteA restaurant on Pensacola Beach called "Sidelines" serves a cheeseburger that actually looks like the McD advertising. So does Bubba's 33.
ReplyDeletethere should be laws against this
ReplyDeleteYeah, and then they'd find an AG and a crooked judge and indict Trump for violating it. After all, he was in the broadcast biz. Have to be guilty.
