A nice smile and something to drink.

  1. If I look slightly off to the side, I definitely see a nip.

  2. If that's a mint julip then it's wise to know that it's a tumbler of bourbon straight up with a few ice cubes and mint leaves floating on top.

    1. My dad used to muddle mint and a sugar cube with a bit of water in the bottom of the glass, then add ice cubes to the top of the glass and then fill with his Jim Beam. I don’t drink, but that was probably his favorite beverage on Derby day and he looked forward to throwing a family party with the race and juleps.

  5. Again, I am going to offer up that an "older woman" gracing this site is nice to see.

And again, some of you younger whippersnappers will take exception to me calling this pretty lady "older."

  7. If you are a fan of mint julips, try them using SPEARMINT instead of peppermint some time. An even better pairing with Bourbon.
