And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I personally love shooting the Ruger Redhawk .44magnum. Yes, heavy, but so accurate. And the kickback is remarkably minor as a result, and if you keep your eye on the target, as the gun inevitably settles back down to an aimed position, you simply fire off another round. Don't own one, but love renting one occasionally at the range just for fun. These look almost "RoboCop" in style.
This pair has the barrel aligned with the bottom of the chamber to reduce muzzle flip. The Chiappa Rhino has the same layout. I see a big hinge pin, are these top-break revolvers? Al_in_Ottawa

ReplyDeleteA Super Redhawk was probably the favorite gun I ever owned. Weight tamed the recoil. 7 1/4" barrel
DeleteFirst time I fired a 1956 Super Blackhawk in .44 mag I was surprised by how little kick.
DeleteThey shoot from the bottom point in the cylinder. Really low bore axis.
