  1. Them flip-ups are about $300 a set.
    No, I didn't buy them.

    1. Beats plastic Mag pull. You'll be glad you spent it if your rifle falls over leaning against a tree while you are crapping in the woods in bear country.

  2. Rifles drum magazine seems to have a lot of slots in it to get dirt into the feed system. Dirty ammo and the AR system doesn't do well.

  3. I'm a traditionalist. Black. All guns should be black. But.....hm......this combo is doing something for me.

    1. I am a traditionalist. Rifles should have a figured walnut stock and blued steel barrel and receiver. A limited amount of engraving is nice.

  4. Intimidating looking big rig but I agree that the holes will kill the mag, the gun, or both in anything less than ideal conditions. Dirt, water, mud, etc…

  5. Useful, compact. The drum mag is for initial response or assault. After that, stay with your stick mags.

  7. See, now that right there, is one reason I don't care for FDE guns. 2 different color browns! WTF.... Pick a pantone number you all agree on, and match it!

  8. Gotta ask. Flip-ups? Not familiar except if you're talking about flip-up covers on a scope and I know it's not that.

    1. The sights are down in the stowed position. If the red dot sight fails you have "flip up" back up sights. Under harsh conditions, optics are vulnerable to death or misalignment.

  9. I've owned one. Have you Mr. Troll? A nice H&K or Steyr M9 will out perform that Ruger. I speak from experience.
