And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ahhhhh! Long gone are the days of the B-52Ds with the Big Belly mod. That modification allowed the Ds to carry 80 bombs in the bomb bay and 24 on the heavy stores adaptor beams under the wings. Dave
84 500#ers, likely Mk82, internally in 3 racks of 28. And the 24 mounted on wing pylons were frequently M117, 750#ers. -D models were structurally modified to allow those heavy conventional loads. Much heavier than 4XB28s and 8XSRAMs, or 2XB53s. Regarding B53, check out HARDTACK OAK. Too bad we still don’t have them in inventory, as Teheran needs some.
be nice if it was on its way to yemen to visit the houthis
ReplyDeleteWould you settle for Wash DC?
DeleteWould prefer it.

DeleteThat plane is pregnant and about to give birth.
ReplyDeleteAnother peek inside the can of Whupass.
ReplyDeleteIn Vietnam, the B-52 bombing runs were called "Arclight Raids." They'd make your fillings rattle in your teeth even from 5 miles away.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they ever swing by my place?
ReplyDeleteHeads up!
ReplyDeleteThose are 750lb Mk 117s.
