  1. Yes, normally meat eating, coyotes have been known to eat prickly pear cactus fruit (tunas) and watermellon from the vine. Very opportunistic and versatile they are.

  2. Folks dump baskets of apples in the desert here in nevada for them. They gobble them up.

  3. My Uncle had a friend that was produce manager at a local supermarket. When he came, he brought food items that were expired and about to be thrown out to feed the wildlife. My Uncle use to say that the coyotes were often seen chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles ...
