Ok, that might be useful

  1. Not sure how well a dagger sharpened bit of Chinese steel is going to do digging into rocky soil.

The measurements and saw teeth are apt to be worn off as a digging tool.

I find tools that try to do too much are not very useful. The basic 4 tool Swiss army knife gets worn-out while the super 16+ tool ones stay in the drawer.

    1. I've got something similar, but stainless. It will cut the roots of long weeds, and works well for transplanting in my small raised bed garden. It's not a shovel or a pickaxe.

  2. I like my garden tools simple, sturdy, non-rusting if possible, and brightly colored. My trowels are aluminum with bright red handles, and I'm always able to find'em. This guy will disappear.

  4. Do not underestimate the garden knife:

    From the Sheriff’s briefing:
After the wife was shot, the husband “armed himself with what was described as a seven inch garden knife. Once armed with the knife he went to work on Mr. [perp]. Ultimately Mr. [perp] was cut to pieces and was very much deceased by the time the deputies could get to him.”
