And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The Coleman Classic uses white gas/Coleman fuel.... That having been said, I had a propane adapter for my last Coleman gas stove (long gone) and I have a propane camp stove (like above) now. My go-to car camp stove these days is a butane can cooker (mine is dual fuel) unless I need the double burner.
Our "Classic" was a three burner. I have to confess that keeping the pump mechanism working was a PITA, and it now lives with a daughter. The #1S-I-L has more patience for these things than I do. Now, we've got this 2-burner Propane stove, which is much more convenient.
I have the classic with white gas, a propane version as shown, and a butane jet boil, but I’m not paranoid or anything. You just want to have your bases covered.
This is a great stove for more than just camping. We used it extensively during power outages. I have used it on the porch for canning many quarts in a big All American pressure canner, so as not to heat up the house in summer.
