The Classic

  1. The Coleman Classic uses white gas/Coleman fuel....
That having been said, I had a propane adapter for my last Coleman gas stove (long gone) and I have a propane camp stove (like above) now.
My go-to car camp stove these days is a butane can cooker (mine is dual fuel) unless I need the double burner.

    1. Our "Classic" was a three burner. I have to confess that keeping the pump mechanism working was a PITA, and it now lives with a daughter. The #1S-I-L has more patience for these things than I do. Now, we've got this 2-burner Propane stove, which is much more convenient.

    2. I have the classic with white gas, a propane version as shown, and a butane jet boil, but I’m not paranoid or anything. You just want to have your bases covered.

  2. A very good price (59.99) - get it while it lasts.

  6. Maybe classic II. I've a classic in the garage, uses white gas like my classic single mantel lantern.

  7. This is a great stove for more than just camping. We used it extensively during power outages. I have used it on the porch for canning many quarts in a big All American pressure canner, so as not to heat up the house in summer.
