  3. The WW-2 Air Museum in Colorado Springs collection of airplanes is all air worthy, and they take them up on occasion.

  4. I was at an airshow where they had a Zero, an SBD, and one or two others up in the air at the same time. They started a turn together. It was amazing to see the Zero heading west while everything else was only half way through the turn.

  5. That P-40 with the Leopard face is Painted like the 11th Fighter Squadron, the Aleutian Tigers. They were on Unimak island, I think. John Chennault, son of the AVG's Claire Chennault was the commanding officer of the 11th
