And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If it was snowing, I think my feet would be propped up on that hearth with my socked feet soaking up BTUs from the fire. I get a cozy feeling just thinking about the possibility.

Those cracks between the floor boards are murder. Leaves get caught in there and they let creatures come up from below. If you drop something small, sayonara. That's what we have and I'd like to tear it all up and put down long leaf pine T&G, all 1104 s.f. worth.
