And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ah yes, the Ducati. Known for turning rider into mechanics. Years ago I had an earlier version of the Multistrada. That engine was a blast, but really not a serious off-road bike. My GS ADV is more civilized and capable (though considerably heavier...).
Trying to ride that reminds me of riding my very pregnant wife.

ReplyDeleteMy first real bike was a 350 Scrambler. I wish I had owned it brand new, though. Like riding a jackhammer. I did jump it once. The tank came loose.
