And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Maybe not, with the recent SCOTUS decision on "Chevron et al." Maybe now some enterprising startup company could start making these basic, functional transportation vehicles again.
In the mid-'70s I bought a set of Dualmatics for my WWII Power Wagon and if I remember right, I paid $130 for them. Adjusted for inflation they'd be $750 today. I think that $500 price is a steal for a new set. But that's just me.
Are those the old school type hubs (the ones with the two little levers)?
ReplyDeleteDualmatic. There are two brand new sets for sale on eBay right now.

ReplyDeleteAgainst the law ( regulation ) to mass produce those and sell them.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th.

DeleteJust a Jeep, he says....Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was "Just"????

$499.00! Wow! When I switched the hubs on my Jeep (back in the 1980's) to something more user friendly, I threw the old ones away!
