And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
To anon, fishing is therapy. Great way to spend a day by the river, stream, lake or any body of water, take a deep breath and unwind from all the sucky things we have to put up with day to day. To each their own, but fishing is a wonderful way to "waste" a day. JMHO
Fishing is one of the best ways to spend a day. To be bored while fishing, is incomprehensible to me, perhaps you don't have the ability to relax. I find great peace while on the water. CATCHING FISH, brings it up a couple notches.
Fishing is anything but boring. Dipping a line like in the photo in the hope to achieve the challenge of landing the target species. There is skill, physical and mental, involved. It is a testing of what you are about.
I prefer saltwater pelagic species. But some of my favorite times were on a trickle of a creek with maybe a half shaded pool.
'Fishing is boring'? Maybe if plunking with Powerbait. Fishing has multi-benefits: oh well those that know, get it. Those that don't, just lose something quite special. Perhaps fishing in general...not just fly fishing.
