And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Have a friend that is a UNC Grad from Morganton, NC, circa 1985ish. Used to call Clempson the "Cheeetahs" due to the old Danny Ford Days (Football HC then).
Guess where his daughter & son graduated from. You get one guess. Pure irony.
250 meters of full speed is not endurance just quick bursts of speed. After a high-speed chase they need to rest for 1/2 hour before they eat their prey.
Agreed! I was just going to mention your point. Also, during that 1/2 or so, they often lose their prize to some other predator from buzzards, to Jackels, to lions.... not a thing they can do about it but go take down another. They often only get a few bites of the prize before it's lost on the best of days. Cheetahs have a tough life.
