And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I agree. I have no idea what might be inside the leather case just left of the watch nor whatever that thing is just to the right of the pry bar. And speaking of which, my daily life has no need for a pocket pry bar. The keychain looks to have a small pen, which I don't carry but could see the utility of, a knife, which my keychain contains too, and is that a cigar lighter? Kubaton? To each, his own, but I'd rather carry a good pepper spray.
And to the Anonymous point at 6:23, I agree that that is a lot of stuff in a man's pockets. A woman can always get a bigger purse, but pants pockets are only so big.
What one carries as their EDC depends upon many things. Type of employment, living and working localities, and individual mindset to name a few. While this would be quite a bit to carry in one's pockets, with the advent of so many EDC paraphernalia being manufactured with clips, they can be clipped onto shirt pockets, on the top part of the pants pocket, in separate pockets as in the lower pockets if one wears cargo pants/shorts and there is always sheaths/mag holders to place EDC items in. While it may seem like a lot, the times we find ourselves in are much more trying than those of generations before us. To each his/her own. I for one carry many of these items and find them not too uncomfortable at all plus the feeling of being prepared for many obstacles that may present themselves throughout the day far outweighs the feeling of carrying to little or being caught without. JMHO
I freely admit there are a few items I'm unsure of. The obvious L to R bottom: tactical pen, mini flashlight, pocket knife, Keychain with two unknown items plus a second tac pen or mini screwdriver. Upper L to R: leather pouch(?) with unknown use, watch, wedding band, prybar multitool, blackjack(?), all sitting on a map and what appears to be a large sized billfold. As I said previously, there are always certain items that one carries that are more important due to circumstances in one's life. I apologize for not recognizing all of the items.
Missing a S&W snub nose 38.
ReplyDeleteModel 36, 60, 639, or 640?

DeleteS&W 642 Airweight.
DeleteYou can carry it all day and barely know it's there.
Who carries all that crap around in their pockets all day ?
ReplyDeleteOnly people who want to be prepared to tackle the majority of what life throws at them on any given day....that's who.
ReplyDeleteA 6" pry bar?
DeleteYeah, that's worth carrying around.....
BTW, the S&W Model 15 comes to mind, also. Old-school and very dependable.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone will point out what each item is? It would be helpful!

Left of watch is a leather covered Zippo lighter and right of the prybar is a small utility knife from TUKK.
