And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Roger Moore was the Bond of my youth. Craig was actually pretty good but was let down by bad scripts for the most part (except Casino Royale.. still one of the best Bond movies).
Connery was the best, but only in certain of his movies. Daniel Craig a very close second-best, but again - only in certain of his movies. Craig had to work very hard to create and assert his own Bond identity; Connery was gifted with a blank slate.
Connery in "From Russia with Love". Best. George Lazenby in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Second. Craig and Pierce Brosnan with good scripts, honorable mention.
I liked Lazenby too, I think he screwed up by not accepting more roles. Brosnan, I always thought he was too pretty to be Bond, pretty enough to be assumed as unserious. But I really liked his performance as an Irish old-school IRA terrorist in that Jackie Chan movie, The Foreigner/
Now we know where the designer got the inspiration for the Tesla truck!
