And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

B-1B Lancer Cockpit with Integrated Battle Station Upgrade
I was half way through the interview process to be a pilot for the B1-B when the Air Guard pulled the mission and replaced it with JSTARS. Almost half the pilot slots disappeared. I had a good chance because I had a private single engine plane license. I already knew the the basics but it didn't happen. I retired enlisted.
Military doesn't give a shit about your previous flight training. Matter of fact, its a detriment. Army, Navy.....it matters not. They want your body for other stuff and just pretend they are impressed with your flight training......
