And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? German V2 - I don't know where or when, but we reportedly captured a handful of them and did some early experiments with them in the earliest days of a "space program" in the US. A lot of that had to do with the SS whacking everyone involved on Fuhrer's orders at the end of the war, and not so much the rockets falling over and exploding.
