And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Passengers boarding a Sikorsky S-40 Flying Boat in Key West, destined for Havana, the year was 1932.
I'd fly in that. Like across country, low and slow, ideal for sight seeing. I'm sure they have mixed drinks. They could upgrade the engines and quiet them down a bit.
Four 9 cylinder radials. Most likely not supercharged so each about 700 BHP and limited to under 12,000 feet. Doubt the fuselage was pressurized so 7-8,000 might have been max altitude. Temp up there was a little chilly so the clothing makes sense. Key West to Havana in a fast boat was a 12 hour excursion. The plane could do it in 2.
