    1. Yes, they do.

      Electronic hearing protection from Walkers or Howard Leight are affordable improvements to the foamy earplugs or the simple earmuffs. You won't regret the purchase.

      But if your budget can go bigger, something from Peltor's Sport Tactical series are good choices too. Peltor does offer military-grade hearing pro as well, but these will start at the $500 point, and for most (well, at least for me), this is more money than I'm willing to spend.

  2. I have used these for years and love them. I can easily hear conversations and it also amplifies noise from distances until its time to do its thing during shooting drills.
