And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Look at the size of that cat's head compared to his
Love knows no bounds when it comes from the heart. Rescued animals will always remember those that saved them, cared for them. Years later is like seeing an old friend and greet them as such.
Agree, however if the animal was treated right it should not harm yet if the animal was not treated right it may be happy to see the person but memory seeps in and revenge occurs. And yes, they are wild animals with self preservation always in the forefront. Then again a domestic animal like a dog can also turn against the owner, so is it the dog defending itself or the human that treats them badly?
Have had my dog bite me as I was trying to unwrap his leg from a briar vine, then lick my face when he was free. Remember, they are animals. But, so are we! Bubbarust
