And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I sit here from the distance of the internet, and even from here, a picture like this gives me the willies. No thank you. Why climbing up a vertical face and then spending the night suspended in a climbing-tent-thingi appeals to some people is beyond me.
I agree as I have felt the same way when I've seen these photos. BUT, I've thought about free climbing poles before OSHA when I was doing construction line work when I was young. OR the street racing of cars or motorcycles that took the lives of so many friends. I think these people look competent and obviously have great skills. The desire for the adrinalin rush is probably what made the human race what it is now. Wow, I'll say that's too much late philosophy, and agree, it's still nuts! Bubbarust
