And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Interesting. They must have run that pic through a filter to make it appear older, or maybe it's just a low res crop. The Colorado Air National Guard flew P-51s right after WW2. This bird appears to be the one from the heritage flight last year.
There is a great Military Aircraft museum in Virginia Beach. A must see, and whilst I was there, they had the only airworthy Mosquito on the planet. Others have resurfaced in the meantime, I think.
His callsign better be Rudolph or they just have no imagination...

The WW-2 Museum of Flight in Colorado Springs has a hanger full of functioning aircraft. It is amazing!!!
