And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Avro Anson is a British twin-engined, multi-role aircraft built by the aircraft manufacturer Avro during, and after the Second World War.
The 'box' is a cover to protect the wooden rear spar. The front spar is in the cover under the cockpit door. The Anson has a one-piece wing with a welded tubular structure bolted to it. Al_in_Ottawa
Used to work on British aircraft that had the spar running thru the cabin. There was a blinking warning light in the overhead warning people about it. They would trip over the sparbox while focused on the light. Every brit type i worked on were well built but a pain in the arse.
Interior shot doesn't match the exterior shot.
ReplyDeleteBeg to differ. All the blinds weren't open for the second shot. Look at the strut structure in the interior.
ReplyDeleteCompare the distance from the top of the windows to the ceiling in both shots.
DeleteADF antennae...
ReplyDeleteI wonder about the box going across.
