The Avro Anson is a British twin-engined, multi-role aircraft built by the aircraft manufacturer Avro during, and after the Second World War.

  2. Beg to differ. All the blinds weren't open for the second shot. Look at the strut structure in the interior.

    1. The 'box' is a cover to protect the wooden rear spar. The front spar is in the cover under the cockpit door. The Anson has a one-piece wing with a welded tubular structure bolted to it.

  4. Used to work on British aircraft that had the spar running thru the cabin. There was a blinking warning light in the overhead warning people about it. They would trip over the sparbox while focused on the light. Every brit type i worked on were well built but a pain in the arse.
