And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A version of cioppino? Mediterranean/Portuguese seafood stew. I've made it around the holidays for the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Wonderful hearty dish and yes, that needs more bread.
I've eaten tubs of that. There's nothing nasty about it. Some of the best food you'll ever eat. Boy, do I have stories about how to procure that in heaps.
IMHO. it needs wide, home made egg noodles to make it complete. That's just the way I grew up eating it. I'm salivating like Pavlov's dogs just thinking about it and it's 8:30AM right now.
We ate a boil like that at the Hook and Reel Cajun Restaurant in Wichita last week. First, use the bib. Second, don't waste your time putting on the gloves. Third, go with the garlic butter sauce. It was extraordinary! Fourth, decline the bread. Just takes up space. And finally, we'll get it without the crab legs next time. Too much work for too little food.
That's going to need some corn on the cob and way more bread than that
ReplyDeletethat is some nasty sh*t right there - never going into my body
ReplyDeleteAgreed!! I wouldn't eat that shit on a bet!
DeleteFound the farm boy who's never seen the sea.
