And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
First couple of years my parents owned their farm, they used a Jeep with trailing implements. He'd get done working, get cleaned up, throw his 3 pc drum kit in the back and go play at bars and roadhouses till last call, load it up and come home and do it all again the next day. Probably still have that Jeep if his brother hadn't wrecked and totaled it. Yeah, totaled it.
