    1. We lived in Manassas in the early 90s and also heard them on approach, but more on takeoff. One Sunday morning in church, the PA system in the sanctuary started to pick up the conversation between the pilot and ATC. The plane sounded like it was right over us. We paused the services until it had passed. Nobody lost their testimonies that day, but it was definitely a different experience.
