The most amazing horse I ever rode was a recently retired cutting horse. The next best was a retired polo pony. With each, I barely had to think and the animal was already doing what I wanted. Horses are a pleasure but expensive to keep.
The horse shown looks a lot like Caesar who was the cutter both in color and anticipating disposition.
"Expensive"? Horses? HA! My darling wife has owned a horse since she was 12 years old. I truly believe that horses are similar to any other truly waste of time. You pour money into their mouths, and you get massive amounts of poop at the other end.
Could have trailered him loose in the open stock trailer, most horses will turn around. Otherwise he may have just stepped out after untying him and turning him around…don’t have to back them out every time.
That picture screams pure testosterone, sadly in low supply today in much of our nation. As a dairy farmer i appreciate the cut of that man. He knows his business
