I wonder if this would fit the Mighty Dodge? I'll need to check.

  1. I have plowed too many furrows to put any lights under my hitch.

  2. I'd love them if they were about a million candlepower for idiots that ride behind me with their brights on.

  3. What you really might need is this - and it's up, out of the way, underneath & protected by the tailgate.

Triple Row LED Tailgate Light Bar

The backup light function is spliced into your existing backup lights (i.e. automaticly comes on) and is a row of white light LEDs all the way across, and it has good brightness.

The light set plugs into your trailer hitch pigtail and attaches with 3M auto molding 2-sided tape. You can get a separate pigtail that plugs into the hitch plug behind the bumper, and keeps your hitch light receptacle clear for use.

  4. I had to touch up the inside with a grinder to get it to fit the F-350. I knocked one of the lights off a few months after installing it. I hit something in the road that bounced up and hit the light snapping the hold down bolt. The light bounced on the highway destroying the housing. I replaced the lights with some less powerful 1" bullet LEDs as the lights that came with the bracket were overkill as they put too much glare on the hitch camera.

On a side note, I have found Curtis receivers to be a very tight fit in the 2.5" hitch. I don't use it much as I have a gooseneck.

  6. Looks like the safety chains would be hitting the lights
