Counter Top Electric. I need to know more. I could see this outside doing breakfast on nice spring/autumn mornings.

  1. 1200 watts on that large of a griddle is gonna make it hard to keep the grill hot enough to properly fry meats.

  2. They come with a waffle griddle? My wife loves her some waffles and bacon.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it and can't return...

Takes forever to heat up, doesn't hold temp well and the surface is domed so it doesn't drain properly.

This is a known brand and a higher price compared to other indoor griddle options, very disappointed.

Tried to return and they don't offer free return shipping plus want to charge a 50% restock fee. Might cancel my Amazon membership... price keeps going up and not being able to return an item like this is frustrating.

You picked the one negative review. Average of 4 1/2 stars out of five from all reviews.

    2. What part of that negative review did you believe to be acceptable?

  4. What advantage does this have over every other electric griddle out there, other than the brand name?

  5. I have one. Too underpowered to really cook. And the 1200 watts is the total draw so if you are using one side, you get the whole 1200. But if you want to use both sides, then the power is split between the two heating elements. And cooking temp drops radically when you put cold food on the burner. I wound up using both sides when cooking. Drop the food on one side and as the heating element dropped temp, roll the food over to side two to continue cooking while side 1 tried to recover. You are better off with the propane 17" version.

  6. 10% of the ratings are 1 star. You should run fast. Why would a blogger post such a link knowing it is crap??? Wants his cut.

  7. My mom used a heavy cast aluminum electric skillet, she preferred cooking with it. Made a lot of delicious gut lumber in it for us kids. Especially grilled cheese and Ruben sammiches, my favoritesHad a substantial cover, so you could braise say a roast with roots, cooked up mac&cheese, slow cooked chicken or stew, it had reasonably high walls which made it versatile. My sister still cooks with it though her old man replaced the cord. Had rather tall standoff legs and that made it easy to cook anywhere with it.
