  1. On you tube there is a guy (Blacktail Studio) who shows how to do bowties & other inlays. He does the "how to" well.

  2. Speaking of butterfly joints, when I was living in North NJ in the 1970s I used to drive 70 miles on weekends to New Hope Pennsylvania and visit George Nakashima in his studio on the canal. I was young and stupid then so I didn't invest a few hundred in one of his works of art.

    1. THAT just brought back massive memories. Grew up not far from there, Penn. side, and went into his studio whenever in New Hope. Astounding craftsmanship.
