And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Speaking of butterfly joints, when I was living in North NJ in the 1970s I used to drive 70 miles on weekends to New Hope Pennsylvania and visit George Nakashima in his studio on the canal. I was young and stupid then so I didn't invest a few hundred in one of his works of art.
THAT just brought back massive memories. Grew up not far from there, Penn. side, and went into his studio whenever in New Hope. Astounding craftsmanship.
