And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
This is about the 10th time I've seen this basic design being implemented. It's a one-man build-it as far as I can tell, only basic skills and tools needed. Might be a fun weekend project for a kid's play house but if I were glam-camping I'd want something with a little more room and a way to cook under cover.
A-Frames use the walls for roofing (or is it the other way around ? :^) and require a bit of care after dark for bumping your head against the wall / roof. I'm guessing this is for children, as the bed frame is a bit short for older folk.
Not a cabin.
ReplyDeleteAbsent human cleaning, and cooking facilities, it is just a storage building.
Those "issues" are a piece of cake to any infantryman worthy of the name.
DeleteUninsulated, a permanent tent at best.
ReplyDeleteRight now, a picnic site with a playground if she's interested.
cool , sure beats curling up beneath a hollow log or something , and might be able to stay warm with a couple kerosene lanterns

ReplyDeleteCozy… a nice place to shack up for the night when your better half is slightly pissed at you… Better than the dog house anyways…
ReplyDeleteOh. A "He shed".
DeleteA very small but well done "sommerhus", used for weekend getaways from the city. Practical and simple, yet with everything you need when there.
ReplyDeleteIs that an apple orchard in the background? Climate must be like Washington state.
