  1. I use a wooden pizza peel, works just fine for my homemade pizza, but I have to say it lacks one thing. To get a crispy crust, I brush the bottom of the crust with a thin layer of olive oil and bake it for 13 minutes on 425 F. It always comes out great, nice and crispy the way I like it... BUT, getting it OFF of the peel and into the oven requires two hands and two implements; one hand holding the peel, the other a large spatula to get it onto the oven rack. Too bad there is no peel available that makes that step easier.
