    By that point, earth would be frozen solid, nearly all life on the planet extinct, the earth itself would be squished into a great, flat, frozen oblong by Jupiter's gravity, and the atmosphere and liquid water stripped off it as it blew through that swirling ball of gas.

    Pretty much like what happens if you see the Congress while it's in session.
