Might have to try this

  1. I'm afraid I'll have to stick with my local honey man. For about 2 1/2 times the cost of that little squirt bottle I can get over 6 times the volume of honey (five pounds). And as much as I use, I need to buy it in five pound increments.

    1. My wife needs to meet your honey connection. Her AP-recipe for whatever ails calls for 1 lb. of honey, 2-3 heads of garlic, a dozen lemons and 1 large white onion. Peel-squeeze-mince-liquefy the needful then run it all through the blender. Doled out a shot-glass at a time every morning.
My job is simple; put my brain-housing group in neutral and peel the garlic.

    2. My honey connection is McClaughry Farms. I checked to see if they had a website (they do) and if they sold online (they don't).
My bride buys it at either of the SPD markets in Grass Valley and Nevada City, CA. It looks like they don't sell online, so unfortunately it's only sold locally. Which is too bad, as it comes in a variety of seasonal flavors, such as blackberry, orange, clover and yellow star thistle which is really good, believe it or not.

  2. Hot Honey is pretty dang good on most things, and outstanding on buttered biscuits or fried chicken.

  3. 'Bees Knees' honey. I hear it's delicious on chicken lips.
