And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We saw canvas water bags in an antique shop yesterday, I had to explain to my daughter what they were. I remember when I was kid my parents had one hanging off the car when we went camping.
In the early 60's, most cars I saw in AZ had one, usually hanging in front of the radiator/grill. I think that location was chosen because it was easy to hang it from the radiator support. Might have helped cool the radiator from the moisture laden air flowing over it, but I'm not clear on that.
I like it. Patinaed with good use.
