Humans are blind to ultraviolet light, but insects can see it. Here's what a flower might look like to a butterfly or bee, if we could see ultraviolet light.

    Many years ago I did some nature photography with Kodak's Ektachrome Infrared. It was pretty cool to see what it did to flowers and trees. Doug firs, for example, came out in red.
