  2. About $20/dozen here in SW Louisiana thirty miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

    All I want is a lemon, some Tabasco, and if available, a bit of horse radish.

    And yes, they're supposed to be raw, not tarted up with some foodie fop chef's concoction so that fairies can say "I ate an oyster".

  3. I'm a little nervous of raw oysters anymor, put a little butter, garlic & some bread crumbs & put them on the grill for a few & I'll eat 5 dozen. Especially those warm water Gulf coast oysters

  5. Never got into oysters. Then I sucked a few pp in college and now I crave the taste of oysters. I ride with Harris.

  6. They're about $30-$40 a dozen in SW Florida. Agree with mostly Cajun: lemon, Tabasco, horseradish & beer.
