And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I'm a little nervous of raw oysters anymor, put a little butter, garlic & some bread crumbs & put them on the grill for a few & I'll eat 5 dozen. Especially those warm water Gulf coast oysters

And yes, they're supposed to be raw, not tarted up with some foodie fop chef's concoction so that fairies can say "I ate an oyster".

Never got into oysters. Then I sucked a few pp in college and now I crave the taste of oysters. I ride with Harris.
ReplyDeleteThey're about $30-$40 a dozen in SW Florida. Agree with mostly Cajun: lemon, Tabasco, horseradish & beer.
