And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Interesting discussion on Petapixel. Pro Surf photogs think this is a "poor" picture. It does not have context, the wave, Olympics, competitors, etc. Obviously, this went viral as most of us are not professional sports photogs. The human spirit wins, and it would not matter if this was some regular day on the waves.
Before some wise guys claim that this is AI or doctored in some way, this is a "for real" photo of the Olympic surfing competition.
