  1. Yeah, if you like paying 17% interest rates, wearing a sweater in your house to keep warm in the winter, driving 55 because the planet is running out of oil and waiting in line for gasoline on the days BigGuv "lets" you buy it then by all means, reelect the peanut farmer.

    1. I remember Sierra Pacific bank (gone) advertising 12% home loans as affordable. The owner of our house carried our loan at 10%.

    2. The waiting in line for gas was back in '73 & the start of OPEC.
